NEO was founded by James T. Fishback to educate young Americans about fentanyl. The first NEO Drug Talk was delivered to 850 students in April 2023 at Hollywood Hills High School in Broward County, Fla. with DEA Special Agent In Charge Deanne Reuter present. NEO has presented to 28,000 Florida middle and school students through our no-cost in-school assemblies, and reached over 1 million Americans nationwide through our partnership with PragerU.

NEO is possible because of the leadership of Riley W. Perantoni, Genesis Jimenez Chavez, William Kiker, Declan Harnett, our NEO Fellows—Asher Guillory, Reagan Everett, and Mathew Moore.
